Gissa has spoken at many conferences regarding intellectual property. She got into law in order to help people in regard to humanitarian issues, such as giving assistance to refugees. In the future she hopes to do engage in more pro-bono work. She attributes her success to hard work and perseverance and feels the highlight of her career has been becoming a partner early in her career.
