Colin Kaiser's interest in Metallurgy started at a very young age, as his father was also involved in the metal industry. He went on to pursue a degree in Engineering, receiving his Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Metallurgy from the University of Melbourne in Australia. Colin is currently the General Manager of Metallurgy for Timis Mining Corporation, a Romanian company based in London, England. They are responsible for supplying iron ore concentrate for steel making to steel mills in China and Europe. As the General Manager there, Colin focuses on optimizing the efficiency of metal processing facilities. His goal is to plan and facilitate projects that enhance the techniques of ire ore concentrate refining. Colin has over 30 years of experience in lead roles in development of several mining and metals projects. He attributes his success in the industry to hard work and the mentors he has had the privilege of working with. Colin recognizes his work as the Project Director, delivering a feasibility study for a billion dollar expansion project in West Africa, as being the highlight of his career. He hopes to be the Project Director of a similar project in West Africa in the years to come.
