Cara Sviokla is the CFO of Eurasia Group, the world’s leading global political risk research and consulting firm. She was previously the associate director in the finance department, director of the department in 2009 then CFO in 2014, and currently has overseen the implementation of a new accounting system. Cara redesigned financial reporting, introduced a timekeeping system and a travel and expense management system. She also oversees administration and works closely with all of the operational functions of the firm. As CFO she is in charge of upgrading technology, human resources management, corporation operations, and is also responsible for all staff divisions in finance, sales, and marketing. Cara received her MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business in Finance and Entrepreneurship and her BA from Georgetown University's College of Arts and Sciences in English Literature and Government.
