Wolfgang Hausner is the Head of Product Management and Commercial Real Estate Financing at the Erste Group, a position he has held for 8 years, following a previous 6 years with the bank. Having worked in the investment end of the bank, he developed a good knowledge of real estate financing and portfolio management, he jumped at the chance to create this new department and expand his team. He has been instrumental in supporting the Erste Group continue to be one of the top 3 banks in Austria. He desires to maintain his position, but increased it to include more responsibilities and move to other divisions of the bank. He plans on taking advantage of the in house training options available to him to further expand his career with the bank. Wolfgang is extremely happy to have been in his current position for the past 8 years and still have the support of the board. He is also proud of being directly involved in the restructuring that has occurred. In his free time, Wolfgang enjoys sailing and playing golf. He reads the Economist regularly. Wolfgang has been a speaker at several in house workshops. He speaks fluent English and German, and basic French .
