Professional Summary
In March of 2014 Theresa Naomi followed her passion for art and opened up her own Studio/Gallery called Naomi Studio and Gallery; here she displays her collection including fine art, collectible, home accessories and much more. Supporting local artists and vendors every third Sunday from March to October she opens her gallery to them to display their works. Some of her near future plans will be to offer painting classes, quarterly featured artists and event space for small gatherings. Currently she contributes art work monthly to the SanKakuyokocho, a Japanese periodical serving the Research Triangle Area in NC: exhibit sat the Durham Arts Council, Cup A Joe coffee shop in Chapel Hill, NC, Black Station Gallery, the LoDi Project, NCSU Japan Center and many self-produced community art exhibitions. Prior to realizing her dream she spent more than 25 years in the hospitality industry (mostly food & beverage) while continuing art. Proudly she was able to work her way at the R.D. David Thomas Conference Center from the Director of Catering starting in 2002 to the Food and Beverage Manager in 2015, just prior to her opening of her Gallery.
