Professional Summary

Born 4/18/1950 at Madison General. Started playing music at age 4. At 13, had first band together working the local school circuit. various bands through the 60's and early 70's. Favorites of UW Madison frat parties. '73-'76 played guitar for Denver musician's union board member, Don "sports" Lewis, and with his own band, worked through major national agency, American Music and Entertainment, an affiliate of Feyline Presents, the largest concert promotion agency in the world at that time. Interned at a Hollywood recording studio '76-'81 and released two records. Met Sensei Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, the longest reigning world champion fighter in professional sports history and legendary martial arts master, who began to train Steve. Moved back to Madison in '83 and began to build his recording studio. The following 18 years were spent building the studio, releasing recordings, producing other artists, doing a public access television show for 6 years that featured many local musicians and major stars. Steve is currently living in southern Califonia and produces music everyday. He has remained a student of "the Jet", and enjoys a vigorous health. In addition to "in-house" projects, he produces and does mastering via internet for many of his former clients. He returns to Madison to visit his friends and his Mother.
