Professional Summary
I was born outside Cleveland Ohio, was raised between there and various areas of West Virginia by a stay-at-home Mom and a hard working Dad just trying to do his best to take care of us before he retired. I married three times having been divorced twice with children, my previous marriage ended when my husband of ten years passed away this year just after his 49th birthday. My time with the public work world was cut short back in 2001 due to a job accident. But I find myself just as busy as ever, I am Secretary for a local Lions Club, a Public Service Organization that I'm proud to be a part of and take my work seriously. I am my President's 'right-hand-person', as I am the liason between her, our District and Lions International. It's a busy job, to be volunteer, but I love it. I enjoy helping and doing for others. There has to be some reward for that someday. I don't work for rewards, though. I hope to make a difference, as the Lions moto says, "We Serve". I'm also lead singer of a local singing group, the 'Bethelites' evolved from a couple from my church and myself, we mostly play at Nursing Homes, a quote from a local paper that did a story on our group sums up like this; "This is God's calling, it's a gift, it can be tiring, but seeing the people respond makes it worth it." I hope to have made a mark in this world after I'm gone, just so that my children and grandchilren can say with pride, 'that was my Mom/Memaw".
