Roberto Tozzi is the vice president of supply chain at LivaNova, a manufacturing company of medical devices used for cardiopulmonary diseases, cardiac rhythm disorders, the management of refractory epilepsy, and the treatment-resistant depression. He has held this position since October 2015. He has more than 20 years of experience in the supply chain industry. His responsibilities include implementing new and innovative systems in the inventory management field; devising and assessing action plans; coordinating inventory requirements and procurement details with vendors and consumers; and developing inventory budgets and maintaining the stock ratio of the organization. Roberto graduated with a diploma in aerospace engineering and aerospace structures from the Politecnico di Milano in 1994 and an executive MBA from the University La Castellanza in 2009. He spent more than six years at Fiat as, subsequently, a foreman, industrial assistant to the managing director, and RSV assistant, and more than eight years Honda as the manager of parts at the procurement center. Prior to his current role, he was the supply chain director and then the vice president of global supply chain at the Sorin Group. Roberto was previously a lieutenant in the Italian Air Force from January 1993 to April 1994. He fluently speaks English, French, and Spanish, and has a basic knowledge of Portuguese and German due to multiple professional experiences in South Africa, Brazil, Turkey, Spain, the U.K. and Belgium.
