Professional Summary

Raphael Curtis is an experienced education professional with over a decade of instructional and not for profit sector experience. Most recently Raphael spent 13 years with the College Board beginning in 2005 as an Educational Manager responsible for advocating and servicing instructional programs and ending in 2018 as the Louisiana based Director of State and District Partnerships. Prior to joining the College Board Raphael spent 11 years as a high school mathematics with stints as an adjunct professor with Our Lady of the Lake College. Raphael was recognized as a Master Teacher of mathematics in 2003 and was selected to serve as a Geaux Teach Mentor by the University of Louisiana’s Cain Center. Raphael received both a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge.
