Phillip (Phil) Davies is currently the Director of Davies Laminated Glass Consulting.Phil holds an honours degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia and during his career acquired Professional Engineer status in both Australia and Canada. Phil worked for Australian glass manufacturer ACI before migrating to Canada where he joined DuPont in 1967. He returned to Australia with DuPont in 1976 and has been involved with the laminated glass industry for the past 32 years. He has extensive experience in all facets of architectural laminated glass from manufacturing through to installation. He retired from DuPont in 2009 after 42 years of service. He has been a member of several glass industry bodies including the Executive of the Australian Glass & Glazing Association and the Standards Australian glass committee. He represents Australia on the ISO TC 160
