Paul Brennan Jr. is the Director of Public Affairs for the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors and author of the recently released book "BLOWBACK," which is currently available on Amazon. Upon his graduation from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, he began his career in Northeast Ohio as a broadcast journalist, reporting numerous news stories for major national broadcast networks and wire services. Paul began writing professionally at the age of 19, penning articles and lectured on the subjects of marketing, government policy, and management issues. Paul also has a proven track record of leadership ability, and was responsible for spearheading passage of the first boiler safety law in the history of South Carolina, and creating an award winning employee program that generated savings of more than $36 million for a large Midwest electric utility. Paul is a Pioneer of safety and legislature in the industry and had spent over 23 years to achieve this significant goal. An accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), he was honored with a PRSA Presidential Citation for exceptional service in the development and leadership of the Society. He also served as professional adviser to journalism students at The Ohio State University. The former member of the Goodwill Industries of Central Ohio Board of Directors, Paul was presented the Goodwill Chairmans Award for his work as Development Chairman and Founder of the annual Goodwill Extraordinary People Luncheon. During a career spanning 45 years, the Pittsburgh native has been honored with both the Gold Quill and the Silver Anvil. His book, BLOWBACK, was honored with four platinum MarCom awards, as well as a platinum and a gold Hermes Award presented by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. BLOWBACK also recently received a coveted Bronze Anvil Award bestowed on it by the Public Relations Society of America.
