Milton Kelmanson, Ph.D. currently manages a private fund established 15 years ago. In addition he was a revered educator at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro where he taught operations research and control theory to undergraduate and graduate students for over 20 years prior to his retirement. He also taught at the University of Sao Paulo early in his career. He also founded a directory company (TeleListas) with two students which led him to participate in award-winning global projects that included the Vatican library and breast cancer awareness. His focus during his doctoral studies was theoretical with a concentration in algebraic geometry in the Mathematics department. He later shifted to the applied field where he continued his passion. With the esteemed Harold Kushner he completed highly respected and recognized research which established his reputation and excellence in his field. At Pontifical Catholic University he founded the "Systems Optimization Laboratory." He is responsible for negotiating numerous scholarships for deserving students. During his tenure he has collaborated with major corporations and organizations to support his unique projects. He speaks Portuguese, English, and some Italian. His future endeavors include the continuation of merging new technology with the digital revolution of the directory. Dr. Kelmanson continues to mentor in his retirement.
