Judi Shaw is the Owner and Founder of Living Riviera Maya Real Estate in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. She has been providing resort real estate services since 1998, between Whistler, BC and Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya Mexico. In 2003 she moved to the newly developing area of Riviera Maya, Mexico. Judi's education career has been long and diverse, beginning with Marine Biology studies at University of Miami, followed by a 4 year degree of BPHE Physical and Health Education from University of Toronto graduating in 1986. Her diploma in real estate was received from Sauder School of Business at University of British Columbia . Judi started her professional career as a Resort Real Estate Consultant with Playground Destination Properties in Whistler BC, specializing in luxury and resort opportunities in that world class resort. She expanded her career from there in 2003 and moved to Playa del Carmen Mexico with Playground, to launch a 6 month marketing platform for the sales of Rosewood Condo hotel at Mayakoba, Riviera Maya. This resulted in a one day sale event, raising the standard of real estate in the area. It introduced a higher level of ownership and higher-end traveler by way of creating a very high valued product that had not previously existed in that area. The company achieved over 35 million dollars in real estate, Judi and her team averaged price’s 2.5 times higher than the local market at the time. In 2004, Judi launched Judi Shaw Group with Remax-Playa, focusing on pre-construction investment opportunities in branded, top-tier, and boutique residential resort communities. Helping foreigners invest properly in Coastal Mexico in the region known as Riviera Maya. In 2008 Judi launched her own boutique real estate company in Playa del Carmen, Living Riviera Maya Real Estate, and has sustained success, even during the recent world economic crisis due to determination, perseverance and great service to customers. Currently Judi and her team of real estate advisors offer in depth experience representing individual property owners, land owners, large parcel lot sales, pre-construction launches of Real Estate, high end luxury homes and condos. Judi has extended her services, consulting with some of the largest developers in the Riviera Maya before they began their sales programs for projects such as Nizuc, Azul Fives, Rosewood which untimely benefits you and the buyer. Judi is an active supporter and generous donator with Green Peace, and a street dog defender working with SOS El Arca, shelter for abused and abandoned street dog in Playa del Carmen Mexico. She is fluent in English, Spanish and a little French. Judi Shaw has been featured in numerous publications such as the Canadian Real Estate Wealth Magazine, Mexi-go Magazine and Mexico Magazine regarding her unique Boutique real estate services. In the future, Judi plans to continue helping others achieve their dreams of owning real estate in Paradise. She has plans to expand her firm deeper into the Mexican markets, deeper in the United States and increase the size of agency while maintaining the boutique experience.
