John Collis is Professor Emeritus at the University of Sheffield. He gives monthly lectures to the British Museums. He started right out of grade school in his career and the key to his success has been hard work and enthusiasm. John received her Bachelors, Masters, and PhD, in Archaeology from the University of Cambridge, 1972. He has published numerous books and in the next 4-5 years is working on publishing 2 to 3 more books. The highlight of his career is the Celts. Though he has taken early retirement, he will continue to be closely involved in teaching and research in the department.
