Dr. Gary L. Hauck is the author of 14 books, including the most recent text, "Exploring Humanities Around the World." He has taught college humanities in Russia, China, Ecuador, and the United States, has participated in archeological digs in the Middle East, and has engaged in or led international field trips to over 40 countries and all 50 states. In addition to being a professor for over 25 years, he has served as department chair, division chair, college chair, assistant dean and dean. He has also served in the ministry as the pastor of several churches, and held ecclesiastical leadership offices on the local, state, and national levels. For 13 years, he served as a chaplain in the U.S. Army Reserves. He as taught at Baptist Bible College of PA, Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, the Academy of Health and Science, Central Michigan University, Siena Heights University, Spring Arbor University, and the University of Phoenix (West Michigan Campuses).
