He worked for Exxon Company, U.S.A. as a Telecommunications Advisor and currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at Southern Methodist University where he has received numerous awards for teaching excellence. He has also established Telecommunications Engineering, Inc., a consulting firm in Dallas.He has received the only "10-year Outstanding Instructor Award" ever given by National Technological University. He is the only teacher out of nearly 700 professors at 53 universities teaching on the NTU satellite system to have won this award based on evaluations by students, for every year since the award was established in 1989. Less than 5% of the teachers on the NTU Network receive it each year.
