Derek Hayward has been involved in his profession for over 30 years now. For the past 19 years he has been a huge asset and owner of his company, Haywards Motor Group. Derek started off in his career by apprenticing for Gowrings of Reading as a technician. Once he qualified to join Porsche he quickly jumped on the opportunity. Putting in a lot of hard work, he was able to rise to higher positions such as supervising and management roles in a short amount of time. Derek served Porsche for 12 years before he moved to After Sales Manager in Bracknell at Volvo. A few years later he was asked to work for Squire Furneaux Group where he entered as a General Manager and ascended quickly to Dealer Principal and then later to the Director of General Operations Director for the group. Derek used all his time learning and moving forward in his field at a very fast rate. After 7 more years of experience, he decided it was time to create and start his own business. For the past 19 years, Haywards motor group has continued to grow and double sales year after year with several locations. There is no doubt that all of Derek’s hard work, knowledge, dedication, passion, hands on approaches and outgoing personality have gotten him to where he is today.
